Hi everyone! Bonjour Γ  tous! Welcome to the very first episode of the French Made Easy podcast. Episode number 1, numero 1. I am so so happy to have you here, and I can't wait for you to get started on the lessons.

So in this episode, I'm going to tell you a little bit about who I am and what the podcast is about.

So who am I? My name is Mathilde, I'm a native French speaker, and I'm the host of the French Made Easy podcast. In a nutshell, I help absolute beginners speak French clearly and confidently, in a fun and easy way.

So, why did I start this podcast? Well, when I was teaching French one on one, I found that there were so many of my beginner students struggling to take action.

Before taking lessons with me, they did not know where to start and what to study. The main thing I heard was β€œFrench is too hard to learn".

And as much as I loved helping and guiding every single one of them, I was taking too many students, which resulted in me working way too many hours!

So for me to help more students and have more family time really, I decided to create French online courses for beginners and this very podcast!

So what are you going to learn in this podcast? Well, all things French for beginners. I'm going to teach you, little by little, the basics you need to know to kickstart your French learning journey.

New episodes of the podcast are released every Tuesday. They are bite-sized and easy to follow French lessons lasting for about 5-10 minutes.

For each episode, you can download the lesson's cheat sheet. Simply because It's best to listen and read at the same time and It will help you memorize the lesson much faster. So make sure you have your episode cheat sheet in front of you while listening to each lesson.

At the end of each lesson, head over to the French Made Easy library; the link is in the episode notes, where you can download the lesson's exercises, so you can start practicing what you've learned right away. When you join the exercises library, you get access to all previous episode exercises as well. And the best part: it's free!

Alright, so that's now it for this episode. If you like the podcast, please DM me at @mathildekien.
