Intro: Welcome to the French Made Easy podcast, where I give you all the basics you need to speak French clearly and confidently. I'm your host, Mathilde, and I'm a French teacher, mumpreneur, and bread and cheese lover. Join me as I dive into all things French for beginners, and deliver to you bite-sized and easy-to-follow lessons every Tuesday. Let's get started, "on commence"!
Hey guys! Salut tout le monde! Welcome back to the French Made Easy Podcast. This is episode number 32, numero 32. Thanks for joining me here. In today's episode, we're doing a bit of counting! And more precisely, we'll count together from 0 to 70! This episode is pretty straightforward; the only thing you've got to do is repeat after me and learn the numbers by heart! And then at the end, we'll do a little quiz. Sounds good? Great.
As usual, before we start, if you haven't done so yet, go and download your lesson cheat sheet; it's free! After the lesson, head over to the French Made Easy library, where you'll be able to practice what you've learned. C'est aussi gratuit, it's also free!
Ok, vous ĂȘtes prĂȘt? Are you ready? On y va!
So! I've done a lesson already on counting from 0 to 20 in French, in episode 3. But that doesn't hurt to review the basics anyway, so today we'll start again and count from zero.
Ok, so répétez aprÚs moi, repeat after me, répétez aprÚs moi.

QUIZ
Ok, now it's time for our little quiz!
So, I'll give you the English numbers first; then, you have a few seconds to translate in French.
Ready? On y va.
So, what's...
"11" in French -> onze
"25" -> vingt-cinq
"63" -> soixante-trois
"14" -> quatorze
â51â -> cinquante et un
Ok, now let's do the reverse. I'll give you the French numbers first; then, you translate in English.
C'est quoi...
"quarante-six" in English? -> 46
"trente-deux" -> 32
"soixante-dix" -> 70
"deux" -> 2
"quarante-quatre" -> 44
Alright, all done! How did you go?
Now, that's the end of our lesson. Thank you so much for listening. Don't forget to go and download your exercises, so you can practice what you've learned. If you've enjoyed this episode, let me know on my website or on Instagram. I love reading all of your messages.
